Jones high school has a wide receiver many college coaches from across the country will keep an eye one. Jones will track the Big 10 and SEC as the season gets underway.
“I'm very excited, can't wait for it.,” Sean Shaw. “Mostly I just want to hear from colleges. I love the BIG10 & SEC, a lot of great teams in there. I will try to visit whoever is interested in me.”
Even though he has two years of high school football left, Shaw knows some of the things important to him and his family.
“I'm just looking for somewhere that will treat me like family,” Shaw said. “Football is football, but don't get me wrong it's work. But when you are treated like family & it's all love those are the teams that excel, that's what I love here at Jones.”
Shaw has visited Texas in the past, a trip he will never forget. He is looking to get back to Austin and meet the new coaching staff.
“I met with the old wide receiver coach, he left this year,” Shaw said. I forgot his name (Jay Norvell), but I came down to Texas to the high school camp, and he showed a lot of interest in me, I loved how he spent time with me, he helped my game a lot coming into this year, but Texas is a nice college. Very well put together and my visit there was unforgettable. Would love to come back sometime!”null
