Montrell Estell Talks Spring Football and More

Is wide receiver Montrell Estell the most heavily recruited three-star player in the state of Texas? The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wideout holds ten offers such as Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Kansas, Notre Dame and SMU to name a few.

When the dust settles, Montrell Estell could pick between Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.  The Hooks (Texas) wide receiver is the No 15 ranked wideout in the state of Texas. Estell is excited for Spring football and building relationships.

“As teams start spring ball I'm interested in seeing that teams are improving,” Montrell Estell said.  “I want to hear from coaches that the team is bonding well and growing every day.”

Estell is not sure which teams he will visit this Spring but will try to make a few.  He will have a close eye on the college football season to see which teams are progressing forward.

“As this next football season starts I want to see the teams improve, and I hope coaches stay in touch,” Montrell Estell said.

Estell is looking forward to his last year of high school football.

“In my last high school football season I want to see myself improve as a football player at every aspect of the game,” Estell said.

Estell is a fan of the Texas Longhorns but knows the relationship can improve and move it to the next level.

“We (Texas and I) have an okay relationship, but I feel like it can be better,” Estell said.  Texas and Estell will work on their relationships throughout the recruiting process.
