Texas took four wide receivers in its 2016 recruiting class and the staff is currently looking to add two or three more in 2017.
One kid to keep an eye on is Lewisville HS WR Tyrell Shavers, who received an offer from Texas Tuesday afternoon.
The Longhorns offer is No. 19 for the 6-6, 202-pound receiver.
2015: Shavers caught 36 passes for 667 yards and 10 touchdowns on 18 yards per reception in a strong junior season.
2014: As a sophomore, Shavers caught 15 passes for 249 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 16.6 yards per reception.
