Highlights of 2017 Top 100 Receiver Omar Manning at The Opening Dallas

COPPELL, Texas -- Scout provides highlights of Omar Manning, the top 2017 wideout in Texas, from The Opening Dallas regional camp.

The above video features highlights of 2017 four-star receiver Omar Manning at Nike's The Opening Dallas regional camp in mid-March at Coppell High School.

Manning is Scout's No. 1 wideout in the state of Texas and the No. 10 receiver nationally for the 2017 class. He's also No. 80 overall in the Scout 300.

Manning has accumulated an impressive offer list that includes about 30 schools, such as AlabamaBaylorOle MissOklahomaOregonTCUTexas, and Texas A&M.

At a very impressive 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, Manning ran a 4.66 laser-timed 40 at The Opening Dallas.

Below is Scout's evaluation of Manning:

Manning is a big outside receiver prospect already north of 200 pounds with the space on his 6-foot-2+ frame to get even larger. Impressive downfield threat with good long speed. Dangerous red-zone weapon thanks to size and leaping ability. Consistently high-points the ball. Proven ball-winner. Good at adjusting mid-air to make plays on the ball. Go-get-it type of receiver. Can improve get-off at the snap. Not a dart-and-dodge, make-you-miss receiver. Plays for a talent-laden high school program and sees good competition in practice as well as games. Overall, a great, high-major talent with a high ceiling. - Gabe Brooks

Manning finished his junior season with 33 catches for 671 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns as he averaged better than 20 yards per reception. He helped talent-laden Lancaster High School from the Dallas area reach the Texas Class 5A Division II state quarterfinals with a 10-4 record.
