Mustapha Muhammad is a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end prospect checking in from Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point High School. The four-star standout holds offers from Houston, Michigan, Baylor, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma to name a few. Muhammad is working hard to be the best of the best over the next two years of his high school football career.

“Over the next two years of High School I hope to work my way into the top 25% of my class (603) and win a state championship in football or basketball,” Mustapha Muhammad said.

Some of the biggest programs in America extended verbal offers to Muhammad.

“Houston, Texas A&M, Michigan, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Alabama, Nebraska, LSU, Florida State, Georgia, TCU, and Oklahoma State,” Muhammad said.  “The recruiting process is a blessing that not everybody has the opportunity of experiencing.”

Muhammad has already been on campus at LSU, Houston, Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama.  Academics will be a top priority for him and his family.

“I want to make sure the school I choose has a solid educational program, and that they utilize the Tight End position,” Muhammad said.

Muhammad on his game and more.

“When you line up against Mustapha Muhammad, expect a good and improving run blocker, athletic pass catcher, and he won't stop until the whistle is blown,” Muhammad said. “I haven’t met Coach [Charlie] Strong yet, but I can tell that he has intentions of turning the Longhorn football program around and is a good coach and recruiter. I look forward to meeting him and the rest of the coaching staff.”
