Four-star OT Will Farrar will take an unofficial visit to Texas later this week.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound tackle told me his dad and he will be in Austin Thursday to take in the Longhorns final practice of spring football.
Farrar verbally committed to UCLA in early March, but announced his decision to re-open his recruitment Sunday after visiting UCLA last weekend.
Farrar is a potentially position-versatile offensive line prospect with the requisite size to play tackle or guard at the high-major level. Played right tackle as a junior for high school team. Big, burly lineman who is a hand full in the run game. Consistently finishes blocks. Plays with a bit of a mean streak. Solid upper-body technique in pass pro. Can improve lateral mobility and overall flexibility. Sometimes bends at waist rather than knees, but usually plays with good leverage, especially for a 6-5+ prospect. Well-rounded player with high ceiling as a pass-blocker who will play at the P5 level. - Gabe Brooks
