Let's get this party started ... a couple nuggets to get us going ...
* If I had to rank the likelihood of Texas undrafted free agents making an NFL roster, I'd put them in this order:
DE Shiro Davis, Washington - With those measurables, you get the sense the Redskins will find a way to keep him even though the production wasn't there.
CB Duke Thomas, Texans - Gave up too many plays as an outside corner, but coaches liked him at the nickel corner. Could Thomas' best plays still be ahead of him?
WR Daje Johnson, Falcons - Eric Weems and Devin Hester, Atlanta's top two return men are still on the roster, but Hester's getting up in years, so could Daje make the practice squad?
DT Desmond Jackson, Chiefs - His 36 reps of 225 pounds on the bench would have been the most at the NFL combine. His lis franc injury suffered in 2014 appeared to limit his movement in 2015 and could keep him from ultimately making the Chiefs' roster. But no one will work harder than Jackson to live his NFL dream.
WR Marcus Johnson, Eagles - Put on a show at Texas' Pro Day by running well. But seems to lack the toughness to be an NFL receiver. He will battle former Texas WR Cayleb Jones as an undrafted free agent for a roster spot.
K Nick Rose, Falcons - Falcons' kicker Matt Bryant is 40. So Atlanta is probably looking to get younger, but Rose didn't have anywhere near the career of a guy like Hunter Lawrence, and Lawrence couldn't catch on in the NFL.
