“It's been good so far,” Creed Humphrey said. “I've had Texas, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma is coming by on Monday.”
Humphrey is looking forward to making a run into the playoff’s his senior season and believes they have the team to do it.
“Our team should be in a solid spot this year,” Humphrey said. “We were overall a young team last year and should be more experienced this year. As long as we have a good summer development as a team we will be in a good spot to make a run into the playoffs. I'm going to do everything I can for my team this spring, summer, and fall to put us in that position.”
Keep an eye on the home town Oklahoma Sooners as they are set to visit Shawnee High School today.
“Growing up I was a huge college football fan, so I can't wait to keep up with the teams who are recruiting me,” Humphrey said. “I'm hoping to be committed by then, so hypothetically speaking I should only need one”
Where do the Longhorns stand with Humphrey?
“It was awesome to meet Coach Strong when I was down in Austin,” Humphrey said. I really enjoyed my visit. Since then, we have kept in touch and are building a good relationship. Coach Mattox and coach Gilbert are the coaches that first really started recruiting me, so I have a really good relationship with them as well.”
