Who will Texas offer next?

One player gaining lots of attention during the evaluation period is Ondario Robinson. The 6-foot-3 ½, 237-pound defensive end checks in from Hutto High School.

Ondario Robinson holds offers from Arizona State, Georgia, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma, Indiana, New Mexico, Colorado and SMU to name a few.  Could the Texas Longhorns be next to offer the speedy defensive end?

Eight defensive ends around the country hold offers from Charlie Strong and company.

Lagaryonn Carson, Liberty Eylau

Robert Beal, Norcross

Taquon Graham, Temple

K’Lavon Chassion, North Shore

Earnest Brown, Denton Ryan

Isaiah Buggs, Mississippi Gulf Coast CC

LaBryan Ray, James Clemens

Alec Jackson, Jefferson Davis

Defensive end Lagaryonn Carson verbally committed to Texas on October 15th, 2015.  Texas fans should expect a total of three defensive end type players on National Signing Day.  Texas extended verbal offers to Ray and Jackson recently, and I expect to see them do the same with Robinson in the very near future.

Scout.com Take

Robinson plays a bit high at times and even on some of his best highlight type of plays he is coming out of his stance and standing up, but that does not slow him from making plays and getting after the quarterback, which only speaks to his upside as a potential prospect at the next level. He will get coached up with techniques at the defensive end position and could be a real monster. He is very strong and can shed offensive linemen. When he gets going downhill, he can close quickly. Having good hips allows him to get around the corner.
