Four-Star WR Talks Texas Offer and More

Charlie Strong and the Texas Longhorns extend an offer to four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore. The 2018 standout playmaker has strong ties to Texas, and is one of the most heavily recruited players in the state of Texas.

Joshua Moore is a 6-foot-2, 173-pound four-star wide receiver checking in from Yoakum (Texas) high school.  He received some very big news earlier today.

“This is a really big offer for me; my mother graduated from Texas so that will have a huge impact on if I do decide to commit there,” Joshua Moore said moments ago.  “When I first got the news it took my breath away! I talked to coach [Jeff] Traylor right after camp, and we had a great conversation he told me he loves what he saw and everything. Me and Coach Traylor have been building a really strong bond the past few weeks! After I had talked to Coach Traylor, I went to shake hands with the boss man, coach Strong. My relationship is very strong with EVERYBODY there at Texas! I've been up for visits only three times, and I feel like I've known them all my life!”

For those that have not had a chance to watch Moore play in person, he described his game on the field.

“I'm a straight Dog when I step on the field, every time I step on the field I'm out to get somebody,” Moore said. “I'm out to prove a point and prove why I am one of the best in the country! I am a vertical threat. I am a very aggressive player. Every ball that is thrown in the air I call it my ball! My speed, my size, and body control are all threats that I use against other defenders.”
