Four-Star Athlete B.J. Foster will attend Texas for Under the Lights

In nine days Charlie Strong and the rest of the Texas Longhorns coaching staff will host some of the most heavily recruited players from the classes of 2017, 2018 and 2019. One of those players checks in from Angleton (Texas) at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds and his name is B.J. Foster.

Body control, hands, concentration and speed, are just a few things that 2018 B.J. Foster had on display at the Opening last week.  He was arguably the top underclassmen in attendance and is challenging for five-star status.  Foster holds offers from every school imaginable including Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs and Texas Longhorns to name a few.  Foster will attend Under the Lights in Austin with his trainer.

Scout.com Take

Foster is a force on both sides of the football, and he could be an explosive offensive weapon or a dominating defensive presence once he arrives n the college scene. As an offensive player, he can gash defenses as a running back and cash in long plays. He has great top end speed. His most upside could very well be on the defensive side of the football. He has great height as a defensive back and is rangy. His frame will fill out in time, and he could be a great deep safety, but he also can lock down receivers with his one-on-one coverage skills. - Greg Powers
