Recruiting fans from across the country will be hard-pressed to find a better-looking football player than 2018 standout B.J. Foster. The four-star athlete was invited to the Opening last week and did not disappoint those in attendance.
“I think I did pretty good in all my testing,” B.J. Foster said. “Of course, they can use improvements, but I did well. The players were cool they stayed talking about how the school they were committed to is better than the other persons it got pretty funny too but it was nice being around a lot of the nation’s top athletes.”
What was the best part about his week?
“Winning the championship,” Foster said. “That was live, and how our team came together so fast, you'll see other teams arguing about who is getting the ball and all that but we didn't care we just wanted to win and had to trust our teammates to do their jobs. We played like a team that had been together forever. It was pretty cool, and my team didn't do any trash talking we let our game do the talking. The ones that did all that talking lost out the next day. Them Bama boys was out there recruiting hard.”
Foster is a force on both sides of the football, and he could be an explosive offensive weapon or a dominating defensive presence once he arrives n the college scene. As an offensive player, he can gash defenses as a running back and cash in long plays. He has great top end speed. His most upside could very well be on the defensive side of the football. He has great height as a defensive back and is rangy. His frame will fill out in time, and he could be a great deep safety, but he also can lock down receivers with his one-on-one coverage skills. - Greg Powers
