Four-star wide receiver Omar Manning holds offers from Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs, Tennessee Volunteers and Texas Longhorns to name a few. Saturday afternoon Manning will join some of the most heavily recruited players in the class of 2017 and 2018 as they arrive for Under the Lights in Austin.
Texas is looking for two to three wide receivers in the class of 2017. Damion Miller announced his intentions to play for the Longhorns on June 25th, 2015 meaning Texas is only looking for one or two more wideouts to join the class. Omar Manning is at the top of the list with a few others.

Manning is a big outside receiver prospect already north of 200 pounds with the space on his 6-foot-2+ frame to get even larger. Impressive downfield threat with good long speed. Dangerous red-zone weapon thanks to size and leaping ability. Consistently high-points the ball. Proven ball-winner. Good at adjusting mid-air to make plays on the ball. Go-get-it type of receiver. Can improve get-off at the snap. Not a dart-and-dodge, make-you-miss receiver. Plays for a talent-laden high school program and sees good competition in practice as well as games. Overall, a great, high-major talent with a high ceiling. - Gabe Brooks
