Atanza Vongor is coming off a big sophomore season but is ready to have an even bigger junior season for his So Grand Prairie teammates.
“I feel that I'm faster, my coverage skills have improved as well as being able to use my arms; I've enhanced all these attributes coming from my sophomore season,” Atanza Vongor said. “For my team, I expect big plays from everyone, and I expect to win.”
Charlie Strong and the rest of the Texas coaching staff are very particular about who and when they offer. Vongor understands the importance of the offer from the University of Texas.
“It's huge to be recruited by a great program like Texas, truly a blessing from God, I haven't been in too much contact with the coaches, but I will be soon,” Vongor said. “I plan to visit a few practices this year. Texas is on the rise; they have a talented class coming in this year, and I expect them to do big things.”
