Four-Star OT Chuck Filiaga will visit Texas as they host Notre Dame Week One

One of the biggest prospects in the state of Texas checks in from Aledo (Texas) At 6-foot-6, 335-pounds, standout offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga is hard to miss. The four-star tackle will make another unofficial visit to Texas this weekend as the Longhorns host the Irish.

Four-star offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga holds offers from Alabama Crimson Tide, Mississippi Rebels, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns and USC Trojans to name a few.  The 335-pound Filiaga speaks very highly of Charlie Strong and the Texas coaching staff.

“As I’ve said before, Coach Strong and the UT coaching staff are a great bunch of coaches,” Chuck Filiaga said.  “They have a strong mindset and plan for the UT future.  I built a bond with all coaching staffs from every college and they all definitely make me feel welcome into their university.”

Sunday night Texas will set a new home attendance record, and Filiaga is excited to be a part of the atmosphere.

“My expectations, I know both sides are great football teams, and it’s going to be one heck of a game,” Filiaga said.  “I can’t wait to feel that UT crowd Sunday and feel all that cheering and hype.  I can’t wait for the game, going to imagine myself as if I were suited up and entering the stadium.”
