Cornerback Jaqualyn Green made an unofficial visit as Texas hosted UTEP this past weekend. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound corner checks in from Grand Prairie (Texas) So Grand Prairie High School.

“I didn't get to spend time with any coaches because I was late and l left before the game ended,” JaQualyn Greene said. “The fans themselves showed me a lot of love on my birthday The electricity inside the stadium?  Walking through the tunnel right before the game gave me chills. I felt a part of Texas for a moment but the game got off to a slow start but second half Texas took full control. The atmosphere there is true!

Greene, like every other recruit, was very impressed with the Texas Longhorns program.

“I knew Texas was going to put up a dog fight the moment I saw them getting prepared,” Greene said. “I was Amazed at Texas and the show that they are putting on. Texas is definitely at the top of my choices as they start to gain more interest in me. I think the two visits down to 40 acres (UTL camp and game visit) most have an impact on where Texas stands in my agenda.”

SMU extended a verbal offer to Jaqualyn Greene.
