Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong has suspended senior offensive lineman Kent Perkins for Saturday's Big 12 Conference opener at Oklahoma State Cowboys, following Perkins' Sept. 23 DWI arrest.
In addition to his suspension, Perkins will undergo counseling, perform community service and will face additional internal punishment.
Perkins addressed the media Monday afternoon to answer for his actions and apologize for the mistakes he made.
