The No 2 ranked athlete in the country for 2018 holds offers from many. LSU Tigers, Oklahoma Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns and UCLA Bruins are but a few programs who have extended a verbal offer to athlete Caden Sterns.
“I learned that the recruiting process is a blessing and just to enjoy it,” Caden Sterns said. “No too many get to experience a great feeling like this so you can't take it for granted either. But it is a blessing. Also, it's a really big decision that could affect the next four years of your life, so you have to take everything into consideration and find what school is the best for you overall. So it's very important.”
Which teams are currently showing interest?
“The teams showing interest are LSU, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas,” Sterns said. Also, TCU, Houston Cougars, and a couple of others schools who haven't offered.”
Sterns is having a very solid junior season, and you will not find a more humble high school football player.
“It's going great, sir!” Sterns said. “We had a tough schedule the first five games, but we did very well. We are starting to work better as a team and play as a whole, putting everything together to win state. With me, it's been good sir, but always room to improve. I just need to work on everything overall, physically and mentally with my coverage skills to tackling skills and everything with that, to being more confident and trusting myself and abilities. Also, finding out a way to be a better leader for my teammates. I just feel that everything could be worked on.”
Sterns will visit LSU in November, Oklahoma State, possibly Houston and some others.null
