2018 Standout WR Al'Vonte Woodard will visit Texas A&M on Saturday as they host Tennessee

One of the top playmakers in the state of Texas will make an unofficial visit to Texas A&M as they host Tennessee on Saturday. At 6-foot-1, 182-pounds, wide receiver Al’Vonte Woodard checks in from Houston (Texas) Lamar High School.

Even though Woodard holds double-digit offers, he knows the key is to remain patient.

“Just be patient, and everything will come,” Al'vonte Woodard said.  “I'm going to the Texas A&M Aggies and Tennessee Volunteers game next.” Mississippi Rebels, Houston Cougars, West Virginia Mountaineers and Texas A&M are showing Woodard the most interest at this time.

“We are 3-1,” Woodard said.  “Districts start Friday for us.  Taking the top off the defense from the jump and t hen I am double and triple covered so it opens up for my other receivers and I want to work on keeping my pad level down constantly.”

Offer Sheet:  Duke Blue Devils, Houston, Mississippi, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, West Virginia, Arizona Wildcats, Cincinnati Bearcats, Kansas Jayhawks, Utah Utes, Toledo Rockets and Tulsa Golden Hurricane

Bio Blast:  2015 as a sophomore, Woodard caught 21 passes for 472 yards and four touchdowns in his varsity debut.
