Four-star defensive end Taquon Graham enjoys his time spent in Austin.

“We just chilled when we got there in the lounge and ate with Coach [Brick] Haley and Coach [Charlie] Strong,” Taquon Graham said.  They said what’s up and they were glad I was there.”

Graham witnessed firsthand what the Texas defense is capable of when they are firing on all cylinders.

“I saw the intensity and saw the players go hard,” Graham said.  “I thought it was all good and they started clicking.  My impression is that they play hard for Charlie Strong and that he is the biggest influence for players to flock to Texas.”

Graham gets after the quarterback and puts a ton of pressure on the offensive backfield. He is a new-age weapon at the position that can slide around and confuse offensive coordinators and offensive linemen from where he will be bringing pressure. Look for him to be a guy who can put his hand on the ground as a true defensive end, but can also stand up as a linebacker as well. He runs extremely well in the open field. - Greg Powers
