2018 QB Davis Brin with upcoming trips

Quarterback Davis Brin checks in from Boerne (Texas) Champion Varsity at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds.

“I have learned that it is important to be very active in the recruiting process and to let schools know that you are interested in their programs,” Davis Brin said.

Brin has interest from numerous schools.

“Texas, UTSA, Houston Cougars, Kansas Jayhawks, SMU Mustangs, and TCU Horned Frogs have shown the most interest so far,” Brin said.

Brin and his Champion teammates are poised to make a deep run into the playoffs.

“We have been doing very well this season,” Brin said.  “We have one nondistrict loss to a large 6A school, but we are undefeated in district and have a great opportunity to win district this Friday. Personally, I am proud of the way I have executed our offense and how I have kept my composure under pressure. I would like to improve on finding a rhythm early on in each game.”

Where will the recruiting trail take Brin and his family the next few weeks?

“This weekend I will be heading to the Alamo Dome to watch UTSA and North Texas,” Brin said.  “After that, I will be visiting SMU and possibly Texas again in November. I think Texas Longhorns is a great program and Coach Strong is a great coach. Hopefully, they can build on the things they have done well and finish the season strong.”
