Three-star safety prospect Dayven Coleman checks in from Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds.  Coleman has enjoyed the recruiting process so far.

“That it’s fun and an interesting process,” Dayven Coleman said.  He is gaining interest from numerous teams around the country.

“Texas, Houston Cougars, TCU Horned Frogs, SMU Mustangs, UCLA Bruins and a few others,” Coleman said.

The West Mesquite defense has done their job this season.

“Our season is going real good,” Coleman said.  “We are playoff bound and our defense is real. We held Eno Benjamin to 65 yards rushing and for me I'm getting better each day and each time I step out there on Friday night.”

Texas, Houston, TCU and UNLV are all teams Coleman will try and visit.  Coleman holds Charlie Strong in high regards.

“He's a good coach, and he can recruit ball players hopefully he stays at Texas Longhorns,” Coleman said.
