UT System Board of Regents to Address Texas Longhorns Head Coach Tom Herman's Contract

University of Texas board of regents have called a special meeting Saturday to address the contract of first-year head football coach Tom Herman.

The UT System Board of Regents will address first-year head football coach Tom Herman contract terms during a special meeting scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3. at 4 p.m.

The Texas board of regents must meet to approve any contract exceeding $1 million in value. 

As Chip Brown reported last weekend, Herman could make around $5.35 million in year one and will receive pay increases each year after, according to Brown's sources.

Official details involved in the deal will not be made public until after Saturday's special meeting.
