Running back Garrison Johnson has made numerous unofficial visits such as Texas Tech Red Raiders, Arkansas Razorbacks, Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns. He is a name to remember in the state of Texas.
“A lot of people got different opinions, and I feel like it's a great fit for Coach Herman and a great steal for Texas,” Garrison Johnson said. “Coach Herman is a great coach and brings that swagger that Texas has been missing since Coach Brown left. I think that's a great spot for him and he will have a successful year there as he did at Houston. Texas is one of my top schools and always has been. I will keep my eyes open for Texas as one of my top schools. Right now haven't planned any trips right now but here soon I’ll make a list of some schools I’ll visit.”
Johnson has tremendous upside and is looking forward to improving his game.
“My season was a good sophomore year,” Johnson said. “I feel like I got a lot of things to work on and a lot of things that I have to get great at that I'm good at. I feel like I got to work on my speed, footwork, and more of my game but this offseason will be one of my hardest so I can double my stats and take my team deep in the playoffs and be one of the best-running backs in the 2019 class and the nation.”
