OL Trey Stratford is a big fan of Texas Head Coach Tom Herman

One of the most important positions on any football team is the offensive line, in particular, the center position. Trey Stratford can play center or tackle. He checks in at 6-foot-3, 270-pounds from Allen (Texas) The three-star is a big fan of Tom Herman and the Texas coaching staff.

Offensive line coach Derek Warehime has certainly made the rounds over the last several days and will continue his frantic pace today when he checks in on Trey Stratford. 

“I love Tom Herman and his coaching staff from Houston taking over Texas Longhorns,” Trey Stratford said. “I believe they know how to win and treat their players well. Coach Warehime is coming to see me tomorrow (Tuesday). I already am pretty familiar with the coaching staff from Houston and look to further my relationship with them.”

Stratford has the mental and physical abilities you look for in offensive linemen.  He has a high ceiling and will land numerous offers over the next 12 months.

“I believe this season has gone extremely well for my team and I,” Stratford said. “I take pride in my ability to get to the second level and my overall awareness of the game. I hope to improve my overall game but more specifically my vertical set in passing.”
