Standout DB Patrick Fields Talks about Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns

With National Signing Day fast approaching for the class of 2017, it’s time to start looking at some of the top 2018 recruits. Patrick Fields is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety from Tulsa (OK) Union with plenty of offers.

Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Tulsa are a few schools to extend verbal offers to safety Patrick Fields.  The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety talked about the Texas Longhorns.

“I’m actually speaking to Coach Washington the CB coach today,” Patrick Fields.  “But I've loved UT as a school for a while now & my uncle is a diehard UT fan, but I love what Coach Herman is doing with the program already.  He's already hit the grown running in terms of recruiting, and their team is putting in a lot of work recruiting. Also, I think what he was doing at Houston will translate to Texas. At Houston, he had a group of hungry guys that competed for every game, and I think the same thing will follow at Texas, I expect him to get Texas back to the program they once were.”
