Texas Longhorns Head Coach Tom Herman Remembers Where It All Began

Tom Herman posts a blast-from-the-past photo with an inspirational message to all graduate assistants in college football.

First-year Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman has not forgotten from where he came - likely because he is back at the university where his career began.

The Longhorns' head coach posted a photo on Twitter Wednesday morning with an inspirational message to all graduate assistants in college football.

"To all the GAs out there grinding away, keep working hard. Dreams can come true. #GreatToBeHome #HookEm"

The photo in question is of his business card from his time spent as a graduate assistant under former Texas head coach Mack Brown next to his current business card, with the title "Head Football Coach" prominently displayed.

Seventeen-years have passed since Herman coached under Brown as an offensive graduate assistant, yet his business card from 1999-2000 is still in his possession.

Herman has made it very clear he holds his days as a GA in high regard, and his 17-year old business card is visual evidence on just that.
