Taking a Look at 2018 TE Mustapha Muhammad

Head coach Tom Herman and staff have put an emphasis on the tight end position for 2017 and will do the same in 2018. One player who will remain at the top of the board is four-star Mustapha Muhammad.

The tight end position will be critical moving forward for the Texas Longhorns.  Tom Herman and company would like to land two in the class of 2017 and a top-flight pass catcher in 2018.  Mustapha Muhammad checks in at 6-foot-4, 225-pounds from Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point.

If Muhammad was a college coach what would his sales pitch be to recruit himself?

“The main things I'm focused on are the schools education, personnel, the offense and how I would be used, and the surrounding environment fans stadium,” Muhammad said. “My sales pitch would be facts involving the program and not selling the recruit anything that is not true.”
