Three-Star OT Says Yes to Texas

With 48-hours to go the Texas Longhorns got a shot in the arm with the addition of three-star offensive linemen Samuel Cosmi.

As Tom Herman and the rest of the Texas coaching staff prepare for their first Texas National Signing Day, they received some good news.  Three-star offensive tackle prospect Samuel Cosmi has made the switch from the Houston Cougars to the Texas Longhorns.

Cosmi checks in at 6-foot-5, 260-pounds from Humble (Texas) Atascocita High School.  He held offers from Houston Cougars, Memphis Tigers, and Texas Longhorns to name a few.  He is the second offensive line player in the class of 2017 joining Derek Kerstetter.  He is a very intelligent player and will add depth up front for the Longhorns.  Cosmi is the No 101 ranked offensive tackle prospect in the class of 2017, No 13 in the Midland and Texas regions.
