Three-Star CB Starrland Baldwin Loves his trip to Texas

Houston (Texas) Cypress Falls standout Starrland Baldwin made an unofficial visit to check out the Texas Longhorns junior day.

Houston (Texas) Cypress Falls Cornerback Starrland Baldwin Jr. made an unofficial visit to Texas this past weekend and walked away impressed with what he saw.

“When I arrived my dad, and I already knew that it would be a great atmosphere,” Starrland Baldwin said.  “The first thing I did was get my pass then talk to Coach Washington.  My experience at the University of Texas was amazing and one to remember.  My dad really likes Coach Washington and has a strong feeling about him.  The vibe with all the recruits was that we were amazed and waited to see what was next.  Every recruit there was on their toes hoping to get an offer and become a part of something special. Texas has always been one of my favorite schools growing up. I watched Texas the most growing up more than any other college. The hometown hero (Earl Thomas) attended the University of Texas, and it would be a pretty cool feeling to be the next legend from there.  UT was definitely everything I expected it to be.”
