OT Jade Ashalintubbi Visits Texas JR Day Moves Longhorns Into Top 3

Offensive Tackle Jade Ashalintubbi made an unofficial visit to Austin this past weekend to check out the Texas Longhorns Junior Day. The massive offensive tackle prospect moved Texas into his top three.

Checking in from Elysian Fields (Texas) at 6-foot-5, 312-pounds, 2019 offensive tackle prospect Jade Ashalintubbi is hard to miss.  He holds early interest from Baylor Bears, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies to name a few.  Ashalintubbi will have dozens of offers over the next two years.

“I arrived at 10, and my two offensive line coaches came with me as well as my teammate Malik Johnson,” Jade Ashalintubbi said.  “The first thing we did was get signed in, and Coach Warehime came and said hello.  I got to speak with Coach Warehime and Coach Haverty and briefly got to speak to Coach Herman. The message was that they plan to reform the whole Texas program and have the family mentality and to me, that is what I want in a team that I would possibly play for. And after my visit, Texas is in my top 3.”
