Three-Star quarterback M.J. Rivers checks in from Frisco (Texas) Lone Star High School at 6-foot-4, 212-pounds. Iowa State Cyclones has extended the talented quarterback an early offer, and the Tennessee Volunteers are showing Rivers a lot of interest at this time and could be the next team to extend a scholarship offer. As far as the in-state Texas Longhorns and where they stand?
“I love the Longhorns,” M.J. Rivers said. “I had a great experience up there they really impressed me, and I talk to Coach Beck.”
Rivers has a ton of confidence at the quarterback position and is the leader of his team. When comparing his game to current NFL quarterbacks, he wasted little time.
“I’d like to say my game is a little Cam Newton mixed with some Tom Brady,” Rivers said.
