Four-Star OT Rafiti Ghirmai Talks Texas

Offensive tackle prospect Rafiti Ghirmai is a wanted man. The 2018 standout tackle checks in at 6-foot-5, 285-pounds from Frisco (Texas) Wakeland High School with over a dozen offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, TCU, and Texas.

The Texas coaching staff is working hard at building relationships with numerous players in the class of 2018 and 2019, and one of them is offensive tackle Rafiti Ghirmai.  Relationships above all else are the primary factor in gaining or losing a signature in recruiting.  Texas is hammering home the relationship aspect to many players for the class of 2018.

“They are doing a pretty good job at recruiting with forming relationships,” Rafiti Ghirmai said.  “I really like them, they have a great staff and know what they are doing.”

Ghirmai believes the strengths of his game are his attitude, feet, and communication.  The four-star tackle will make an unofficial visit with his mother to spend time with the Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff later today.
