The decision is in for South Grand Prairie safety Atanza Vongor. The four-star prospect has verbally committed to TCU. A Scout100 recruit, Vongor's decision came down to the Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns and Baylor Bears.
As I reported in HD Only earlier this week, Vongor's recruitment has been trending in TCU's direction for quite a while, and his announcement Saturday confirms it.
Atanza Vongor is one of the top defensive prospects in the state of Texas for the 2018 class. He's a physical safety with the athleticism to succeed in coverage, but thrive crashing downhill and running the alleys. Vongor is a hitter who can separate the ball from the receiver or ball-carrier. Vongor's quick-twitch reactions combined with his size, speed, and overall athleticism are what make him special. - Gabe Brooks and Greg Powers
