Four-Star WR Tommy Bush with Plenty of Options

Wide receiver Tommy Bush checks in at 6-foot-5, 187-pounds. The four-star standout is the No 115 overall ranked prospect according to Scout.com from Schertz (Texas) Samuel Clemens High School.

At 6-foot-5, 187-pounds, wide receiver Tommy Bush is a dangerous offensive weapon for Samuel Clemens.

“My strengths are using my hands instead of body and gaining yards after the catch,” Tommy Bush said.  “Recruiting was crazier early on, but it’s still a good and enduring process. The recruiting process surprised me with by how many people you have to keep in contact with, the fame that happens immediately, and I'm looking forward mostly in the future is to research the schools and find the best one for myself and my family.”

Bush does not hold a Texas offer at this time but does have some contact with the coaching staff.

“No we are not having regular conversations,” Bush said. “It's more so occasional, and we don't know if and when we will visit again yet.”

Numerous programs are in constant communication with Tommy Bush on a daily basis.

“Too many to name right now,” Bush said. “I'd say 25 a day are in contact.”

Which teams will the four-star wide receiver try and visit moving forward?

“Teams that are within driving distance well try to hit in the springtime for the games and practices,” Bush said. “In the summer is when we will hit all the school we want to visit. Not a specific list on that yet.”

When Bush isn’t playing football, he loves relaxing at the house and playing video games like every other teenager.  What does a scouting report on Tommy Bush look like written by himself?

“Tommy is a big fast, physical player who has the mentality of not being outworked in anything,” Bush said. “He's 6'5 with feet of somebody who's 5'8 including a high vertical to go get the ball. He catches the ball with his hands, is explosive after the catch, looking to not going down.”
