Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne High School is home to one of the top defensive backs in the entire country for 2019. Brian Williams holds early offers from Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Texas Longhorns, UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans to name a few. Williams has not been in contact with Texas but looks for that to change moving forward. He and his family have enjoyed the recruiting process so far.
“It is moving slowly due to the limited contact but other than that I have enjoyed it,” Brian Williams said. “My family is helping me along the process, and I'm just looking forward to building a relationship with all these wonderful coaches and being able to make a good decision.”
What makes Williams a big time prospect?
“Great range and ball skills and great form tackler,” Williams said. “I need to improve on just attacking on run plays more.
With college programs focusing on the 2018 class, Williams and other 2019 prospects have not had much contact but look for that to change over the next several weeks.
Williams has a college pedigree as he is the younger brother of Arkansas running back Rawleigh Williams III. He will be a rare four-year starter in high school. Williams has a well-rounded skill set. He is a guy who can come downhill and blow up the run game, but he is also a tremendous cover guy. Williams can turn and run with receivers like a corner but has the size of safety. He is only going to get better with time, and he should end up rated as one of the top safety prospects nationally. - Greg Powers
