Three-Star DL Jordan Kelley Sets up Trips

Three-Star defensive end Jordan Kelley checks in at 6-foot-4, 280-pounds from Tulsa (OK) Union High School. Kelley is in the process of setting up three potential unofficial visits at this time.

“I'm really good against the run,” Jordan Kelley said. “If I get a little better at pass rushing I think that It will work out for the team.  It's been a crazy process, but at the same time, me and my family are glad that I'm getting to go to college for free and I have choices on where to go. I'm looking forward to just committing and knowing where I'm going to go.”

Kelley and Texas Longhorns defensive line coach Oscar Giles have been in regular contact.

“Yes, me and coach talk about every other day,” Kelley said. “Talked on the phone a couple of times. I want to go back, but it's so far away, and I don't think my grandparents can do it again unless we fly.”

Texas, Oklahoma State Cowboys, TCU Horned Frogs, and Oklahoma Sooners are the four teams showing the future defensive tackle the most attention.

“I'm going to an OU camp and a spring game,” Kelley said. “I think I'm going to an Arkansas game and I think I'm going to practice at TCU.”

Kelley describes his game on and off the field.

“One thing I love doing most is just hanging around family and friends just talking and having fun,” Kelley said.  “Fun, outgoing guy will do anything to make him and his team better. He's a strong guy in the run game, but pass game just needs to get a little bit better. He's calm doesn't let the crowd or opponent interfere with his game.”
