Hallettsville standout Scooter Adams plays all over the field from running back to wide receiver and defensive back. At 5-foot-9, 185-pounds he has good balance, quickness, and open field ability to make people miss.
“I believe I'm a top recruit because I'm always trying to find a way to improve my game,” Scooter Adams said. “I'm always working and putting in the time. I'm trying to outwork the next person. UTSA, Navy Midshipmen and Howard University are showing major love. The coaches hit me up every day asking how I'm doing, how my grades are, what my plans are for the weekend and stuff like that.”
Adams has a full plate this Summer but is excited about the opportunity.
“I will be attending a Nike Opening sometime soon,” Adams said. “I also plan on going to some camps of the colleges I'm very interested in as in Texas Longhorns, Mississippi Rebels, Baylor Bears, and Texas A&M Aggies. I will be taking a trip to Howard this summer to get a good idea of what I want to do. My plans for this summer is to go all out. I will be working all summer to get some offers. They don't come easy. I have to get bigger, stronger, faster, and more physical. I can never be satisfied with where I'm at. I want it all and won't stop until I get it.”
