Standout WR Tyler Walton Ready for a busy Off-Season

Wide receiver Tyler Walton remains grounded and focused. The 5-foot-8, 155-pound playmaker checks in from St. Louis (MO) Christian Brothers College High School.

Army and Kent State have extended verbal offers to wide receiver Tyler Walton.  Illinois State, Tennessee State, Air Force Falcons and Missouri Tigers could be next to offer the speedy playmaker from St. Louis (MO)

“I am a top recruit because I work hard and separate myself from others,” Tyler Walton said. “A lot of kids do school workouts and think that's just fine, but everybody does that, so you aren't getting any better than them.  “You're just staying the same. If you put in extra work while people are out parties and stay committed and focus on training and getting better, you will see a difference. Not saying you can't have fun but you need to keep the main thing the main thing.  I bring quickness and explosiveness in my game.  I catch the ball in traffic and over the middle.  I can make a guy miss and get up the field.”

More than a few schools are showing Walton attention.

“The schools that show me the most love are Army, Kent State, Illinois State, Tennessee State, Air Force, Missouri,” Walton said.

Walton has a busy summer planned.

“I am not doing any seven on seven, but the trips and camps that I will definitely try to get to this summer is Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bearcats, FIU, South Florida Bulls, Army West Point Black Knights, Tennessee State, and Missouri,” Walton said.  “This summer I plan on training harder than ever. This is my senior year, and I want to make a statement. Especially people who are sleeping on me because of my size. I want to show every college coach in the U.S how talented I am.”
