Oklahoma City (OK) Putnam City four-star defensive end Ron Tatum III is wanted by Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas to name a few. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Tatum has plenty of options moving forward.

Four-star defensive end Ron Tatum III is coming off a big junior season.  The 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end has plenty of options.  Why is he one of the top recruits in the class of 2018?

“I'm a top recruit because I show my talents at every camp and I make it look easy,” Ron Tatum said. “They (programs) should recruit me because I would be a great piece to the d-line and the program. I'm a friendly person, and I don't do bad things, and I'm good on the field.”

Numerous teams are showing Tatum lots of love, but five are stepping up their game.

“Probably Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, and LSU Tigers,” Tatum said.

Tatum knows of two visits he will make this summer.

“OU and Texas for sure,” Tatum said.

Right now, the focus for Tatum is helping his team win.

“Just continue to try to get better,” Tatum said. “Stronger faster and become a better player for my team.”
