Texas Longhorns Football Begins Facility Upgrades, Starting with Locker Room Demolition

Watch as Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns take sledgehammers to the past, kicking off facility upgrades inside Moncrief-Neuhaus.

Demo day has arrived.

Shortly after 8 am Friday morning, Texas football started a live broadcast featuring a construction-clad Tom Herman and the Longhorns making their way through the halls of Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center, ending in the locker room to begin upgrades to football facilities.

Prior to wreaking havoc on the Longhorns' lockers, the first-year head coach told his team he is committed to giving them the best.

"You guys know why we're here," Herman said. "We're here because we're demoing this locker room.

"And we're committed to giving you guys the best facilities in America, and that starts right now."

Watch the video below, as Texas football literally takes sledgehammers to the past, welcoming in the future under Tom Herman.
