“The overall vibe of the visit was great, you can really feel the energy and sense of urgency within the coaching staff, and you can tell they're extremely excited for not only this fall but the future,” Owen Condon said. “First thing I did when I got there was tour the Moncrief facility, and I was on campus all day Friday. I really liked the coaching staff, and I was mostly with Coach Warehime. I got a really good vibe from him, and I've known him since he was at Houston. He basically told me that Texas is going to be the place to be in the next few years and that he really likes me and he'll be up at my school in the spring.”
Texas has yet to extend a verbal offer, but they will keep a close eye on Condon moving forward. Numerous teams are showing Condon lots of love at this time.
“Arkansas, Georgia Bulldogs, TCU Horned Frogs, SMU Mustangs and Oklahoma State Cowboys are showing the most love right now, and Texas would be one of my top schools if they were to offer,” Condon said.
Condon helped Bishop Mcguinness to a 12-2 record and the state championship game, paving the way for over 200 rushing yards per game. He earned First Team All-State honors for his efforts.
