“I love recruitment,” Daniel Carson said.  “I get to experience a lot of people and new places.  The downside is the coaches from schools trying to convince or make me commit early.  I love the mail, and it’s cool.”

The Texas offer was special for Carson.

“Well, I knew they didn’t offer out of state, so it was special,” Carson said.  “They have been good in the past, and I loved the defenses.  I speak with Coach Giles and Chang.  They are cool and pretty often with Coach Giles.  I do have plans to visit sometime.”

Five teams are showing Carson a lot of attention as the evaluation period begin.

“Ohio State, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Iowa State and Nebraska show a lot of love,” Carson said.

What makes Daniel Carson a great prospect?

“My get off,” Carson said.  My first step, my long arms and strong hands which are good but can get better.  I have no visits planned at the moment.”
