Tom Herman has done it again. The first-year head coach has successfully picked up the commitment of yet another prospect in Oklahoma's back yard.
Four-star Putnam City (Okla.) defensive end Ron Tatum announced his verbal commitment to Texas. His pledge came down to the Sooners and Longhorns, but in the end, Texas prevailed landing the No. 16 DE in the country.
A Scout 300 prospect, Tatum's commitment comes days after former Oklahoma QB commit Cameron Rising flipped his decision to Texas.
Tatum is Herman's fourth out-of-state commitment in the 2018 recruiting class.
