Richmond (Texas) George Bush is home to one of the top defensive backs in Texas for 2019. His name is Jamal Morris. The 6-foot-2, 174-pound standout breaks down his game and more.

Question:  How would you describe the recruiting process overall for you and your family?

 

Answer:  The recruiting process is going very well right now, it’s starting to pick up, so it’s starting to get complicated, Jamal Morris said.  My family supports me with my decisions

 

Question:  Which schools have you had a chance to visit and what did you think?

 

Answer:  I’ve only visited USC, and I Loved all the tradition and environment and winning history.  I really like Texas.  They have new coaches so there about to turn the program around and be something big.  I have a close relationship with the safeties coach.

 

Question:  Which schools are showing you the most love

 

Answer: Houston

 

Question:  Current list of schools that have offered

 

Answer:  SMU, Iowa State, Baylor, Michigan, Houston and Oklahoma State

2016: As a sophomore, Morris recorded 43 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, two forced fumbles, and six pass breakups.

 

2015: Morris debuted as a freshman with 39 tackles, 9 1/2 tackles for loss, 4 1/2 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup.
