Texas Longhorns Remain In Good Standing With WR Al'Vonte Woodard, CB D'Shawn Jamison and WR Brennan Eagles

Tom Herman and his staff remain in solid standing with several Houston-area prospects in the 2018 recruiting class.

In addition to CB Jalen Green, the Texas Longhorns remains in good standing with a handful of other Houston-area skill players.

Houston Lamar teammates, CB D'Shawn Jamison and WR Al'vonte Woodard, are both scheduled to announce their commitments in the coming weeks.

As it currently stands, Texas fans will want to be paying attention to these announcements.

July 15 is currently slated as Woodard's decision date, while Jamison has plans to announce his commitment in August. Everything I am hearing is the Longhorns remain the team to beat in landing both Jamison and Woodard.

Five-star WR Brennan Eagles is another Houston-area prospect very high on Texas. Eagles was scheduled to commit later this month, but cancelled due to technical difficulties.

Everything I continue to hear is the Longhorns remain in a solid position with the No. 1 receiver in the state of Texas.
