In by far their best performance of the year, the Longhorns ran over, around and through the vaunted Blackshirt defenders while stuffing the Nebraska running game in a 31-7 win over the Huskers. The total domination on both sides of the ball made this game one of the most enjoyable Longhorn victories in recent memory.

Hats off to the UT offensive line. They played a fantastic game, clearing the way for 353 yards on the ground against the Blackshirts.

A determined Cedric Benson takes three Huskers for a ride on his way to 174 yards on 28 carries.

Vince Young gets the corner on his way to a big gain in the first half. Young had 163 yards on the ground for the game.

Marcus Tubbs bears down on Jammal Lord. The Longhorn defense sacked Lord for 53 yards in losses Saturday.

Josh Davis of Nebraska is swarmed by a host of Texas defenders. Texas held Davis to 28 yards on 10 carries.

Vince Young jukes Husker defenders on his way to another long run.

Jammal Lord, who probably had orange and white nightmares last night, sees a hard-charging Rod Wright steaming his way in the second half. Wright had five tackles on the day as he and his fellow defensive linemen forced their way into the Nebraska backfield time and time again.

Roy Williams had some room to run on this play, but for the game he had a quiet 35 yards on 5 receptions.

Derrick Johnson led Texas with six tackles. He also picked off a Jammal Lord pass and forced a fumble.

Cedric Benson celebrates as he goes in for his 3rd score of day, putting the Huskers away and putting his team up 31-7.
