In front a packed house and a national television audience, Texas jumped on Wake Forest with pressure defense and hot shooting to build a 52-39 lead at the half. The Horns maintained that lead in the second half to finish with a convincing 94-81 victory.

Brian Boddicker slams home a dunk early in the game. Boddicker had a very good game, finishing with 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

James Thomas tries to keep Wake's Justin Gray from getting inside the paint. Gray did not hurt the Longhorns from in close, but he hit a game-high eight three pointers to help keep Wake Forest in the game.

Brad Buckman fights for position under the boards. Buckman pulled down three boards and also had three blocked shots on the night.

Would you mess with this guy?? P.J. Tucker definitely brought the necessary intensity and focus to beat a top-five opponent. If the state of North Carolina would like to send us any other players like P.J. we will gladly oblige.

Texas effectively used an aggressive, trapping defense to force tempo and create turnovers. Here, Royal Ivey and Kenny Taylor pressure Justin Gray into one of his five turnovers.

Edgar Moreno goes up for two of his ten points with this easy layup. Moreno also led Texas with five assists and another solid night playing the point.

Brandon Mouton takes his man off the dribble in the first half. Mouton did not shoot a high percentage, but he was aggressive on offense and finished the game with 17 points.

P.J. Tucker finishes Wake off with this dunk late in the game. Tucker was a force, finishing the game with a team-high 21 points and seven rebounds.

Happy Longhorn fans storm the court following the victory. The sellout crowd was loud and into the game all night, providing the Longhorns with a big home court edge.
