Of course, with the number crunching going on in Austin, who knows if the kid'll garner an offer?
"I don't know what they're going to do," father and former NFL player Bruce Thornton said. "No one has relayed that they're not going to offer him a scholarship. Who knows?..."
[More on the "Who Knows?" later...]
Given the history with the Thornton family (talking about the signings of Kalen Thornton and Kyle Thornton), one might expect that the Texas coaching staff wouldn't have Kenton traveling to Austin only to be told, 'We don't have any room.'
Of course, that did happen to at least one prospect this season (Gabe Ratcliff), so guess you never do know...
"I would think they would offer him or they wouldn't have bothered setting up the trip."
Not only does it seem highly likely that Mack Brown and Co. will extend a 'ship offer to the state's No. 34, a WR/TE prospect, but it also looks very likely that the Horns will land their next commitment of this year's class from that particular legacy prospect.
