Junior Report: Pflugerville QB Todd Walker

Todd Walker is already a household name to recruitniks and college coaches. After you clock a 4.28 (40) at the May 3 Nike camp in College Station, people tend to look at that and want to grab a glimpse of arguably the state's fastest player.

What they'd see is a 6-1, 174-pounder (A&M 1/24/04 junior day) who can clock a 4.33 best average forty (4.28, 4.32, 4.33, 4.36 Nike, 4.33 Pflugerville HS, 4.36 Texas camp), 3.95 20-yard shuttle and leap 36-inches (Baylor camp).

Walker attended past summer camps at A&M, Baylor, Houston and Texas.

In-hand scholarship offers: A&M, Baylor, Houston, Purdue.

The Cen-Tex burner is currently being pursued by college coaching staffs who like him mostly as a corner (played there as a soph) or quarterback (started there as a junior and will again in his final season at Pflugerville).
